Mouse Soup

"But when the weasel came back to his house, he found a surprise. The cooking pot was empty."

I read Mouse Soup. This book was interesting. In addtion, the mouse is very clever. There were a mouse and weasel. The weasel caught the mouse and put the mouse in a cooking pot. "I am going to make mouse soup." the weasel said. However, the mouse said,"This soup will not taste good. Mouse soup must be mixed with stories. The mouse began to talk some stories. 

First, the mouse talked about bees and mud.

Second, he talked about two large stones.

Third, he talked about the crickets. 

Finally, he talked about the thorn bush. 

When the mouse finished talking stories, he said "Run outside and find a nest of bees, some mud, two large stones, ten crickets, and a thorn bush. Come back and put them all into the soup with me." Then, the weasel found them, but when the weasel came back to his house, he found an empty pot. The mouse could run away by the weasel. I think the mouse is clever and cunning. I little felt the weasel was poor.
